X8A01 by Aeon--Soul X8A01 by Aeon--Soul
This is X8A01, our next release and this is one of the three styles included (the name of this style is Robot).

More images will come in the next days.
The outfit will be available for Victoria 4 and Genesis 2 (there will be 2 different packages and 1 bundle and the Genesis version is not a port/conversion from poser, it's made from scratch directly in DS!!!).

Feel free to ask any info!

Thanks for watching, comments and favorite.
Posed in Poser and rendered with Octane for Poser.

Body Texture is Hyshy from our texture package : www.runtimedna.com/INKsbundle.…

I can't get X8A01 V4 Textures to work in Daz Studio.  It seems that a few of the textures point to some sort of Genesis duf file.

The error message I get is;"Assets needed to load the file are missing...
/data/AlfaSeed/X8A01/Lft_BootPoint/UV Sets/AlfaSeed/Base/default.dsf"

Robot-BootPoint does not work and generates an error.  However, RobotSurvivor-BootPoint does work.  I didn't exhaustively test all the textures, but it seems the BootPoints are the issue.  When I look inside the Robot-BootPoint, I see a reference to Genesis "/People/Genesis%202%20Female/Clothing/AlfASeeD/X8A01/RobotStyle/Robot-BootPoint.duf".  (I didn't buy the Genesis set since I'm not upgrading to Genesis 2.)

Love your work as always dude.

Hi!
I actually just tested the MATs but everything works all right for me.
DAZ Studio 4.6, right?

Yes... Daz Studio 4.6.  Did you test the download from RDNA without anything else installed?

Is the Daz V4 Robot-BootPointpoint supposed to reference "/People/Genesis%202%20Female/Clothing/AlfASeeD/X8A01/RobotStyle/Robot-BootPoint.duf"?

Ok, I got it after deleting the Genesis2 files.
This is something I just learned: apparently DAZ Studio saved this kind of references in the materials-only file (why???? There's always to learn :)).

I usually create the materials on the V4 version even in DAZ Studio and then they work on both the V4 and Gen2 versions ('cause it's the same materials and all) but I must have fine-tuned some on the Genesis 2 version (after RDNA testing was complete) and there you go. Otherwise the testers would have caught this as they test one version at a time.
I'm getting them fixed now, it seems it's only the Robot and Sci-Fi boot points, right?

At least I'm not going crazy.   I only noticed the boots myself.  But why only the boots?

Might I recommend keeping a test install directory? I always extract zips or exes there, and verify that the files all work before copying them into my main runtime.  I started doing this to make my life easier when I renamed directories that files are stored in. (You're special... There is an extensive selection of models under Alfaseed.)

I always click test all the materials when I install.  I was kinda bummed when the GunsNPoses didn't have Daz mats.

We do have a test directory already, but this is the first time a MAT files (either Poser or DAZ Studio) connects to an item like this, it's something new and unexpected, but a lesson learned.
As for being only the feet part, that's because I renamed a map and apparently I updated some of the D|S mats on the Genesis version (which is something I won't do again!!).

GunFu have DAZ MATs, they are in a DAZ Studio only directory since we had included the material files for Poser. Let me know if you can't find them :).
Only Almost Human is not D|S compatible among our products, and that's just because I don't know how to make it work properly as I do in Poser.
